Hopelessly out of date!

During the past 6 months my Blog has been hopelessly neglected!  It's been pointed out to me, quite rightly, by a couple of people.  I made a half hearted attempt to correct this in September, but failed utterly since then.

October marked the start of the Victorian Spring Racing Carnival, which begins at Caulfield Racecourse.  My first visit to the track was not for Caulfield Guineas Day, which is usual for me.  It was to attend the ABC Book Launch of Black Caviar - The Horse of a Lifetime, by Gerard Whateley.  It was a special event to attend.  Gerard attributed special mention to me, and my relationship with The Famous Pony in his speech, and I was very proud to be part of the launch and his book.
